Yes. Searching numbers and reading community reports is completely free. Creating an account unlocks search history, favorites and the ability to contribute.
We combine licensed third-party APIs (Twilio, NumVerify, Abstract, Vonage) with information voluntarily submitted by our community. We never access private telecom subscriber databases.
Our classifier weighs community reports by category and severity, factors in ratings and line type, and produces a 0–100 score. More reports of serious categories like scam or phishing push the score higher.
Visit our Data Removal Request page and email us. Verified requests are processed within 7 business days in line with GDPR and CCPA.
Use international format with the country code, e.g. +639123456789. PhoneTrace can also handle local numbers in many regions.
